I just want to comment on some points. If the rumor is true that each of them received P10M just to do the reunion concert. Well why not ? even if it’s only P2M can you hesitate that offer? If you were on their shoes, would you grab the offer? If you won’t grab it well you must be kidding. With the current global economy going worst, with all those CD piracy, for all those corrupt officials, Do you think you can still say NO to a P2M or P10M offer? Well I doubt. Lets face reality, it’s all about money. Yes it’s true that Marlboro were just using Eraserheads just to promote their product, but then again who are the audience?
Basically those that are mature enough to know what’s right and wrong. Smoking is definitely not good for our health. I think Eraserheads are just being wise and at the same time deep inside they want to do this for their fans. They have commitments/gigs with their own bands, so doing a reunion concert for free is not realistic. I think they deserve the P10M or P2M talent fee. They have contributed a lot in our music industry. For me it’s unfair to call them like promo boys promoting Marlboro.

Mark this date guys, August 30, 2008. After 6 years of waiting the Eraserheads finally decided to reunite for a One night Concert to be held at CCP Open Grounds.
The band, composed of Ely Buendia, Buddy Zabala, Marcus Adoro, and Raimund Marasigan, were highly responsible for the 90’s Pinoy Rock Music. They are being called as The Beatles of the Philippines.
No other pinoy band matches their superb popularity, the band is legendary. With their unique talent in writing novelty music, pinoy rock music, etc. They become one of the Best Pinoy bands ever.
When the the band left the music scene in 2002, fans were all disappointed. And now for sure after 6 years of waiting, their back on track with their first reunite concert. Some fans would surely want eraserheads to be totally reunited. But that wouldn’t be easy, Ely is with Pupil now, Adoro with Marcus Highway, Buddy with The Dawn, and Raimund is with Sandwich. But who knows, maybe this would just be the beginning.
This reunite concert I think, will surely be a big hit and this would even continue as they reunite for good. Hehe Why not! I’m sure their fans would want that to happen.
